4. Manage Event State
What it is : Whe you are creating an event, you like the ability to test before publishing it to live. Also you may want to pause then event due to some of your operational process issues or may cancel the event. To handle this scenarios, we now introduce a simple ‘Manage event state’ which enables you to change to state of your event => draft, test, publish, pause, cancel.
Note : if you cancel an event, it is considered as fully cancelled i.e. you can’t make this event ‘publish/live’ again.
Where you can see this : See your MyEvents section for your event http://ticketing.ayojak.com/event/manage/my-events
For every event, now you will see ‘current state’, you also see an option as following image shows.

5. Manage Ticket State
We are also introducing ‘ticket state’ to manage current state of your ticket i.e. whether you want to make a ticket available to ‘sell online’ or offer it ‘onsite/venue’ only i.e. venue registration facility. You may also want to cancel a ticket or pause a ticket temporarily. To enable you to smoothly manage your tickets, this helps.
Where you see this option : In Ticketing tab, for each ticket this option is shown, see following image

Hi All,
We had a little long pause in Ayojak. It has quite a while that you would have seen any active release of new features on the site. To answer what were we going on, here is a quick post.
When we started Ayojak, we tried various things, for instance initially we launched quite a bit of solution which many of you may have felt as social network in ‘event’. We also listed events, did sold quite bit of online tickets, this & that things. So it was mix up things we were doing. However our goal was to see what works and what does not and also see if there are better services.
During last 3 months after revisiting our approach, we found the answer. We are now stepping to make Ayojak as Online Event management solution & event services provider. We have very different thought process, feedback as given by our users and we think we can innovate better things for event management solutions.
Also most importantly rather than doing all things, we will only do one thing i.e. bringing innovative products to make you easy to organize, manage & promote a conference event or a group event or a social event.
Ayojak1.0+ release is a step towards that. Kindly note this is not a full release as we are in full speed, rather than waiting for final release, we are brining solution as it is made. Kindly beware with us if things fail (smoothly / miserably)
However we promise, you will love the solution inside. They are safe, fun and trendy.
More post soon in coming weeks. Also you can follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/ayojak
Thanks,
Santosh
